The decisions taken by our University Senate at the meeting dated 20.02.2023 regarding the 2022-2023 Spring Semester Education and Training are as follows:
1) The 2022-2023 Academic Year Spring Semester will start on February 27, 2023.
2) Education and training in the 2022-2023 Spring Semester will be conducted by distance education (online) method, excluding practical trainings.
3) The decision on distance education will be reviewed again at the beginning of April 2023. If conditions become favorable, blended (hybrid) teaching methods may also be considered in accordance with the decisions of the Higher Education Council. The theoretical part of all courses in all academic units (preparatory, associate degree, undergraduate and graduate) except for units that will receive face-to-face practical training will be conducted by distance education method. The practical part of the courses will be postponed to after April, and if distance education continues after April, the practices of such courses will be completed with practical project studies according to the decisions to be taken by our University Senate or can be done in the summer term.
4) Practical trainings of the final classes of the following academic units within the scope of the "Regulation on Practical Trainings in Higher Education" at our University will be conducted face-to-face. Face-to-face practical trainings will include;
a. Final year students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine,
b. Final year students of the Emergency Aid and Disaster Management, Nutrition and Dietetics, Nursing, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Departments of the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Nursing Department of Bucak Health Vocational School,
c. Final year students of the Information Systems and Technologies, Customs Business, Accounting and Financial Management, Management Information Systems Departments of Bucak Zeliha Tolunay Applied Technology and Business Vocational School and the Computer Technologies and Information Systems, Land Registry Cadastre Departments of Gölhisar Applied Sciences Vocational School and the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department of Tourism Management and Hospitality Vocational School,
d. Final year students who receive "Workplace Practice Education" in Burdur Food Agriculture and Livestock MYO, Burdur Health Services MYO, Çavdır MYO, Gölhisar Health Services MYO, Social Sciences MYO and Technical Sciences MYO,
e. Students taking the "Teaching Practice" course in the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Theology and the Department of Physical Education Teaching in the Faculty of Sports Sciences.
5) Course registration / renewal processes will be done online between February 23-March 3, 2023, and add-drop processes will be done online between March 6-10, 2023.
